Edward Gorey was an American writer and artist known for his pen-and-ink drawings often depicting slightly dark narrative scenes in Victorian and Edwardian settings. He saw every Balanchine Ballet and was a creator of theater and ballet sets. His art work is the theme of this the room. We feel that it works will with the theater and art personality of Ashland.
